Anne-Sophie Cottrais exhibition
City hall of Fouesnant, 29170 Fouesnant
Description
The town hall of Fouesnant hosts a new exhibition until the end of July.
Anne-Sophie Cottrais, illustrator, graphic designer and watercolourist, works with watercolors and linocuts to produce her works under the name of "l'atelier des petits images". His watercolors are made using a black marker to detail the landscapes and make them idyllic with paint. For the linocuts, the artist plays with the colors for unique renderings at each transposition.
Her works are inspired by the Breton landscapes that she takes pictures of, Île-Tudy, Beg Meil, Mousterlin...
It feeds on current events, Japanese art and painters like Henri Rivière.
His achievements bear witness to the passage of time, and can make us reflect on the future of these places threatened by climate change. Sensitive to the idea of discovering the world of art from an early age, the designer offers linocut workshops for children.
His works are available in several formats including notebooks or frescoes.
