From Saint-Anne to Penfoulic

Description

From the town of Fouesnant, this walk joins the Sainte-Anne chapel, then crosses the bocage. The opportunity to discover many orchards: the apple trees and the cider that comes from them have made the reputation of the Fouesnant region. The walk then descends towards the wood of Penfoulic before joining the village by sunken paths.

Steps

1.  Turn left into Allée de Penfoulic. Continue straight then turn left into rue Hent Meil ​​C'hoët. Come out in the descent of the Douric and go up it to the left. View location

2.  At the top, turn right into rue de Kergoadic. Cross a first roundabout and go straight ahead. At the 2nd roundabout, take rue Hent Roudou opposite. At the third roundabout, continue straight on the road to Sainte-Anne. Take the first left: Chemin de Toul An Aël. Go down to the right in the chemin de Karn Moël. View location

3.  Towards the Chapelle St Anne, cross the road to take Hent Silijou then turn left to continue on the street of the same name. The street becomes a path that crosses a stream. At a place called Rosnabat, cross the road and take the path opposite. View location

4.  Turn right at the crossroads. Along a field. Join the Hent Menez Briz road: take it to the left. Continue in the sunken lane. Turn right onto chemin des Poiriers. View location

5.  Cross the Route de Fouesnant and continue opposite on the passable path that leads to the Maison des Marais. Leave the Marais house on the right, cross the dyke and turn right into the path of the dike which runs along the Penfoulic cove. At the crossroads with Allée de Penfoulic, turn left. Then, turn right to go up the Cap descent and reach the church. View location
