Steps

1.  It is difficult to get lost on the small island of Saint-Nicolas: there are a dozen buildings on a confetti of sand with an area of 14 ha. Immediately after the Les Viviers restaurant, turn right and join the decking: this wooden promenade goes around the island. It allows you to see the valley where the narcissus bloom in the spring, the island of Banalec separated from Saint-Nicolas by a tombolo of sand which is covered at high tide, then to see the islet of the Prison. The walk continues due west, towards the cross where mass is celebrated on the day of the forgiveness of Saint-Nicolas, the 1st Sunday of September. The return is made by the shore to the boarding hold. Please note: the island has no drinking water and offers almost no shade on hot summer days. Provide bottles of water accordingly and think of sunscreen and hats to protect you from the sun which reverberates dangerously on the sparkling white sand of Glénan! View location
