The GR34 at Fouesnant-les Glénan…
In the town of Fouesnant-les Glénan, 17 kilometers of exceptional landscapes, sandy and rocky coasts, will enchant you. From the bottom of the Penfoulic cove, passing by the Cap-Coz cliff overlooking magnificent little coves, the very large beach of the Pointe de Beg-Meil at Pointe de Mousterlin extends over more than 4 km.
You will cross the Mousterlin polder, a Natura 2000 classified site for the richness and biodiversity of its fauna and flora or prefer to walk along the seaside, with your feet in the water….
Go around the point to the west, another huge white sand beach losing itself in the marram grass, for nearly 5 km. After having skirted part of this superb dune, the GR 34 winds this time, through small sunken paths lined with oaks and chestnut trees.
At the bottom of the coves, herons and kingfishers lie in wait on the branches at water level…. In one day you will cross an incomparable and unforgettable landscape mosaic. Do not forget binoculars and camera in your backpack.
