The Aprèm Jazz Big Band features no fewer than 17 musicians. Directed by Geoffrey Chaurand, it comprises a rhythm section (bass, drums, guitar and keyboard) and a brass section made up of 5 saxophones, 4 trombones and 4 trumpets.
Its repertoire reflects a wide range of styles, from traditional swing to modern fusions with Latin and funk influences. It highlights the richness of the jazz language and its ability to evolve while retaining its essence: groove, improvisation and collective expression.
