Cyanotype" workshop, a process for making blue-coloured photographic prints on paper.
Philippe Bréson is exhibiting work at l'Archipel in which he explores various "ante-digital" photographic processes: cyanotype, salted paper, wet collodion, gum bichromate, etc. As part of this exhibition, he is offering a workshop to discover and experiment with cyanotype.
The cyanotype is a process discovered in the mid-19th century. It is used to make Prussian blue photographic prints from negatives, or photograms from plants or objects.
Suitable for all ages, from 8 upwards (accompanied children)
