For its thirtieth anniversary, the Cantoria vocal ensemble will be performing a masterpiece of the 20th century.
Francis POULENC's GLORIA will captivate you with its energy, its light and its a It alternates moments of dazzling joy with moments of recollected gentleness, offering a modern and profoundly human vision of the sacred, accessible to all audiences.
In the first half, a nod to the special programmes that Cantoria has made a speciality of:
-3 negro spirituals, bravura pieces in the pantheon of the choral repertoire
-3 pieces by contemporary composers in residence at prestigious American universities.
The concert will be conducted by Jean-Claude Quéro
