With more than 9,500 classes of CM1 and CM2 registered in France in 2025-2026 and in French schools abroad, the Little Champions of Reading game is giving more than 220,000 pupils around the world a taste for reading! It's an incredible collective adventure that brings together young readers from near and far in a fun experience that's accessible to all.
Each child will have a maximum of 3 minutes to convince others by reading aloud the text of their choice.
The aim? To combine reading with pleasure and develop pupils' self-confidence, spirit of camaraderie and open-mindedness.
It's time for the departmental final!
Throughout January, the little budding champions elected in each class have been practising bringing the characters in their favourite texts to life. Each of them will present their reading at the departmental final. The little champions will be judged by a panel of judges.
Don't hesitate to come and enjoy this wonderful reading experience!
In the Archipel theatre (Fouesnant).
