On 18 and 19 April, the Festidreuz site in Kerchan Fouesnant will be the venue for Finistère's first national driving days. Over 2 days, come and learn and discover this discipline. There will be something for all ages... and all statuses, and these two days will feature a special focus on people with disabilities. Organised by the Comité départemental d'équitation du Finistère and the Comité départemental de tourisme Equestre du Finistère . The programme from Saturday to Sunday: - Introductory and introductory workshops: including for people with disabilities. Over the two days, 2-hour introductory workshops run by professional carriage drivers will be held for groups of 6 people (1 hour of theory and practice on the horse (approaching the animal, fitting, stripping, setting up the carriage), and one hour of riding, with each participant taking part under the supervision of a double guide). The programme will be adapted for people with disabilities. It goes without saying that only insured professionals will take on this task... The main aim of this discovery tour is to open up disability to the general public. 40 disabled people expected over two days 50 able-bodied people - Horse-drawn baptisms: (not offered to the disabled) The aim is to offer the general public, without reservation, an appropriate tour to discover horse-drawn carriages (15 minutes maximum). A qualified manager will be in charge of organising the introductions. All participants must be insured. 100 people expected over the two days - Two days of signposted carriage driving: One day will be possible. Two days organised, signposted, including stewarding and assistance: - Day 1 about 30 km towards the coast, - Day 2 20 km inland. - Horse-drawn and other activities : A workshop run by local actors Claude and Lenaig Goenvec will take place mornings and afternoons over the two days, run by the Menez Brug cider mill. They will be presenting the Breton breed with examples of skidding, manoeuvring, working the soil, etc. Various equestrian events will take place over the two days. - Lunch, local produce and crêpes: Lunch, crêperie, hot drinks and local produce will be provided by Equibrofoen on both days. There will also be a stand selling local products made by local craftsmen. - Saturday evening entertainment and meal: mussels and chips, dessert will be available on reservation from 19:00.
