Guard save the Queen
Radio Cirque
Theatre
For all ages, from 4 upwards
Running time: 50 minutes
Free
The guard at the Kingdom of Something takes up his post at the Queen's toilet door. But the formal wait has gone on too long, and it's time to face the facts: she's disappeared.
The guard will need great courage and a little help from the public to carry out the mission of a lifetime: saving the Queen!
Actor Yann Calvary slips happily from the character of the guard to that of the queen, inserting a few grains of madness into the well-oiled machinery of royal protocol and propriety.
