Every Thursday at 6.30pm The town of Fouesnant is joining forces with the Quimper-based association Les Aprèm'Jazz to offer a bouquet of free concerts at the end of the beach and during the aperitif hour. Over the course of the summer, a variety of local bands will be offering a delightful journey through the different aesthetics and eras of jazz, celebrating the popular, festive and open aspect of this musical genre! + an ephemeral bar is open on the site on concert evenings > In case of rain, the venue will be the Archipel, 1 rue des îles, 29170 Fouesnant. On the programme for 13/08 : Gangbé Brass Band Afrobeat Open to all Duration: 1h30 Free Founded in 1994, this eight-piece band embodies the vibrant essence and musical diversity of Benin. The Gangbé Brass Band stands out for its unique blend of traditional African percussion and wind instruments. Their repertoire features a fusion of voodoo rhythms, Afrobeat and jazz, creating an irresistibly danceable ensemble. In the tradition of African entertainment, the Gangbé Brass Band embodies the lively, festive spirit of African music.
