A small artisan soap factory based in Finistère, making soaps using an ancestral method: cold saponification (SAF). This method uses very little energy, preserves the quality of the oils without altering them, and preserves all their properties. The SAF method is the only one that fully preserves the glycerine produced during saponification, which makes the soap extremely mild. What's more, my soaps are 'superfatted', meaning that some of the plant oils and butters used are not transformed into soap, thus preserving the intrinsic properties of the raw materials and preserving the skin's hydrolipidic film. Cold-saponified soaps are the only high-quality alternative to toiletries today, because they gently cleanse the skin thanks to a simple formulation that contains no preservatives. My soaps care for and respect your skin. The range of soaps I offer is made from organic vegetable oils and butters. I mainly use plant oils and butters for their emollient properties, plant milks for their softening properties, clays and mineral oxides for the colours and essential oils for the fragrances. I prefer to use locally-produced ingredients. Each soap is different in its formulation. They contain no preservatives. In our range of soaps you'll find: soaps without essential oils, scented soaps, household soaps, shampoo soap, beard soap, gift sets, etc. The soap factory is open on Thursday afternoons (2.30-7pm) and by appointment.
