Description
As part of Musik Europa Breizh: professional baroque music concerts open to all in Lorient and the south of Finistère, as well as environmental music and free improvisation.
On the programme in Clohars-Fouesnant: Natural trumpet
These are two instruments we've been wanting you to discover for a long time: the natural trumpet and the natural horn are finally appearing in our concerts! They are the ancestors of the modern trumpet and horn, at a time when the piston had not yet been invented. We are very fortunate to welcome Joël Lahens, a great brass virtuoso who will introduce us to the sometimes velvety, sometimes dazzling sound of these two instruments. Accompanied by Bernadette Charbonnier on violin, Olivia Gutherz on cello and Jérôme Brodin on harpsichord, they will take us on a spellbinding musical journey through works by Bach, Finger, Mouret and many others.
