Faune Océan organises observation cruises to discover Brittany's marine wildlife. On the programme: several species of dolphin and bird, as well as sunfish, blue sharks and one species of whale: the minke whale. You can choose between two destinations:
Mor Braz cruise:
Departing from the Gulf of Morbihan, Faune Océan will take you to meet the dolphins and seabirds of Mor Braz. This large bay, located between Guérande, the Quiberon peninsula and the islands of Belle-Île and Hoëdic, is home to a particularly rich and varied fauna. You will embark from Locmariaquer or Port-Navalo (your choice) aboard the Angélus III or IV, comfortable vessels offering excellent visibility thanks to their spacious upper decks. In addition to commentary on the various observations, Faune Océan offers a lecture by a naturalist on cetaceans and seabirds.
Groix cruise :
Departing from Lorient or Port-Louis, you'll embark on a cruise to discover the marine fauna off the island of Groix. Aboard the Stereden Glaz, you'll explore the biodiversity-rich waters to the south of the island. As well as commenting on the various observations, Faune Océan offers a lecture by a naturalist on cetaceans and seabirds.
