At the crossroads of the roads to Quimper and Concarneau and just a few kilometres from the south Finisterian coast, the Bluegreen de L'Odet golf course welcomes you all year round. Designed by Robert Berthet, the Odet Bluegreen golf course opened in August 1986. Its two golf courses are set in the heart of a superb 130-hectare wooded and flower-filled estate, in a typical landscape combining ponds and Breton embankments bordering the wide fairways on either side. Close to the seaside resort of Bénodet, this is one of the best 18-hole courses in Finistère. The environment and the quality of maintenance of the courses provide players with a golfing experience and a pleasant moment of relaxation. You'll love the variety of holes on the 18-hole course (PAR 72). Hundred-year-old oaks and pines are omnipresent, but the wide fairways will delight the occasional long, imprecise hitter. The greens are shallow and well defended by sentry bunkers. They often require fairly strategic angles of attack. The first 9 holes are rather short and technical, quite different from the return where you'll find yourself in a wilder setting with a very interesting endgame. All in all, a challenge that can prove tricky for good golfers, without scaring off average players. The L'Odet Bluegreen golf course has a number of partnerships with local accommodation providers. Come and play at a golf course just 2 km from the ocean. The 9-hole compact course (PAR 27) is perfectly suited to beginners and children. There is a driving range (12 of which are covered), a putting green and an approach green for practising. Two instructors offer individual or group golf lessons, as well as golf courses adapted to your level for adults or juniors. In the spacious clubhouse, you'll find a pro shop offering a wide range of clothing and equipment. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday and has a lovely panoramic view over the golf course.
