Close to the semaphore, the Plage des Dunes at the tip of Beg-Meil has been attracting families and beach-goers for over a century. Its white sand, emerald waters and sculpted rocks offer a soothing setting. Ideally facing south-west, it offers children the chance to swim in complete safety, while the small covered and heated seawater pool gives them the chance to learn to swim under the watchful eye of the lifeguards. The GR34 footpath runs nearby, offering lovely walks and views of the semaphore overlooking the beach.
The facilities make it easy to relax: free parking, public toilets, benches and bike storage. The pine forest lining the beach invites you to relax in the shade.
Offshore, the view of the Glénan archipelago completes this exceptional panorama.
